While I began yoga as a child, there were many years when more active outdoor activities took up my free time. In 2011 my body started telling me I needed to make some changes and I found my way back to yoga, eventually completing my basic teacher training in 2013. My focus is on enabling students to lead more balanced, joyful and fulfilling lives by tapping into yoga’s effect on physical and mental health. Each yoga session draws from the diverse range of my training as well as my own experiences of the ‘wear and tear’ of sporting pursuits. While varying both in style and tempo, my classes encourage being in the present moment and always include asana, breath work and meditative practices.
